These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dot2Dot Printing website and the products and services we provide. By using our website, requesting a quote, or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — if you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Dot2Dot Printing of Shop 9, 301 Victoria Road, Marrickville NSW 2204, and “you” means the person or business using our website or ordering our products and services.

Our services

Dot2Dot Printing provides digital, large-format and related printing and finishing services. Our website showcases our products and lets you request a quote or contact us. We do not sell products or take payment online — pricing is provided on a quote basis, and orders are arranged directly with us.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are estimates based on the information and artwork available at the time. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days and may change if your specifications, quantities, artwork or materials change, or if costs beyond our control change. All prices are in Australian dollars. Where GST applies, it will be shown on your quote and invoice. A final price may be confirmed once we have sighted your final, print-ready artwork.

Orders and acceptance

An order is accepted once we have confirmed it with you and, where applicable, you have approved a proof and paid any required deposit. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example where artwork is unlawful, infringes a third party’s rights, or cannot be produced to an acceptable standard.

Your artwork and responsibilities

You are responsible for the artwork and content you supply. By submitting artwork or content to us, you confirm that:

• you own it or have all necessary rights, licences and permissions to use and reproduce it;
• it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights, and is not defamatory, misleading or unlawful; and
• you will indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from the artwork or content you supply.

You are responsible for checking and approving your artwork before printing — including spelling, layout, images, sizing and content. We are not obliged to check or correct supplied artwork, though we offer a free artwork check as a courtesy.

Proofs and approval

Where we provide a proof (digital or physical), it is your responsibility to review it carefully. Once you approve a proof, that approval is final and we will print in accordance with it. We are not liable for errors in artwork or proofs that you have approved.

Colour, materials and variation

Printing is subject to reasonable variation. Colours on a screen (RGB) differ from printed colours (CMYK), and some colour variation between proofs, print runs, materials and batches is normal and unavoidable. Stocks, finishes and sizes may vary slightly within industry tolerances. Where exact colour matching is critical, please discuss it with us before ordering.

Turnaround and delivery

Any turnaround times or delivery dates we give are estimates made in good faith and are not guaranteed unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We are not liable for delays caused by matters beyond our reasonable control, including late or incorrect artwork, supplier or courier delays, or equipment issues. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.

Payment

Payment terms will be set out in your quote or invoice. We may require a deposit before commencing work, and payment in full before release or delivery of the goods. Title to the goods remains with us until payment has been received in full.

Changes and cancellations

If you wish to change or cancel an order after it has been accepted, please contact us as soon as possible. Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, changes or cancellations after artwork approval or once production has commenced may incur charges to cover work already done and materials used.

Returns, reprints and refunds

Because our products are custom-made to your order, they generally cannot be returned or refunded simply because you have changed your mind. If your order is faulty, or differs materially from your approved proof due to our error, please contact us within a reasonable time and we will reprint or refund the affected items. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which applies to our goods and services and cannot be excluded.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the artwork and content you supply. We retain ownership of our website, its content, and any designs, templates or files we create (unless agreed otherwise in writing). Unless you tell us otherwise, we may photograph and display finished work as examples of our capabilities — let us know if you would prefer we did not.

File retention

We may keep your artwork and print files for a reasonable period so we can produce reprints, but we do not guarantee to archive them indefinitely. Please keep your own copies of your original files.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim relating to our products or services is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the goods or services, or refunding the price paid for them. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or business.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated Terms.
