Bookmarks are a small, affordable print piece that people actually keep and use — which makes them brilliant for authors, bookshops, libraries, schools and promotions. We print bookmarks in-house at Marrickville on proper cardstock, with the finishing options to make them last.
The right material
For a bookmark that feels good and does not curl, we recommend a 300–350gsm coated cardstock. Add a matt or gloss laminate and it will survive being tucked in and out of books for years. It is the single biggest factor in how premium a bookmark feels.
Sizes and finishing
A slimline size around 55 × 150mm is the classic bookmark, but we will cut to whatever suits your design. Finish with rounded corners, a punched hole and tassel, or spot UV for a bit of shine.
Artwork
Set your file to the finished size with 3mm bleed, keep text clear of the trim and the tassel hole, and use CMYK. Not sure it is right? Upload it and we will check it for free.
